This evening i was at a birthday party
also at the party was Miles, a guy in a wheel chair who couldn’t really talk much or move that well.
Nevertheless, there were always people around him making him laugh.
He couldn’t feed himself, so when it came time for cake and one of the guys was getting ready to feed him bites of cake, the guy said -“hey let’s all feed each other…it will be a fun game!” I...
Almost a week later
and i’ve still never been so excited and giddy about something ever:)
Just the thought of the coming plans brings a huge smile to my face:)

Tonight the mormon missionaries came back - the same ones who have been to our house 2 times this past week. Every time they come we are busy and i tell them to come back later so we can talk to them. Well when they came tonight my dad enthusiastically greeted them - “hey elders!!” and asked them to come back tomorrow night since today is sunday and this is his night to hang out with...

My sister’s good friend from high school just called. They were having a great conversation, catching up on each other’s lives. Then, Rachel asked her (yet again) if she would be open to talking to the missionaries about their doctrine, and religion. Life Lessons from Skate-Skiing
Yesterday, I went up to Bogus to go skate-skiing with my dad. After renting our equipment, we put our skis on and…took off. Well, actually, we tried to do that. But we just couldn’t get into the “groove”. It had been more than a week since we had last come up, and we just felt awkward! I would ski a few yards and then stop, frustrated with myself that it wasn’t coming back quite yet. I felt wobbly...
I just set the table for dinner...
And my mom came in to inform me -
“Just so you know, the red plates aren’t for eating on.”
hmmm…ok…well…then…what ARE they for?! hahaha
I went back in and she had switched out the red plates for regular white ones.
Hey, whatever makes her happy! ;) haha
